1. Invitation to the KlimaDeSol Continuing Education Seminar Series<\/p>\n
With six online seminars, we are reaching out to activists in the climate movement, the climate justice movement, and various grassroots movements. These seminars give a voice to those who are marginalized in the white-dominated debate on climate justice: activists, experts, and faculty members with migrant and diaspora backgrounds, whose commitment is closely linked to the movements, discourses, and struggles in countries of the Global South. <\/p>\n
Fifth Online Seminar: \u201c
\n\u201d In our upcoming seminar, we\u2019ll have the opportunity to learn from representatives of Indigenous struggles to preserve our planet.
\nIndigenous activists and scholars are the world\u2019s oldest environmental and climate defenders! Above all, we can learn from them HOW our relationship to the planet and our coexistence with the environment are perceived from their perspective. <\/p>\n

Title: Dialogue with Indigenous Representatives and Their Perspectives on the Current State of the Earth

Leandro is an advocate for the individual and collective rights of his community. He has supported efforts to strengthen community identity and has taken on leadership roles in the fields of culture, education, and traditional medicine. He is currently pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree in popular education, specifically indigenous education, at the Indigenous Autonomous Intercultural University (Universidad Aut\u00f3noma Intercultural Ind\u00edgena).
\nHe is a member of the Inga indigenous community in Aponte, Nari\u00f1o, in southern Colombia. There are 29,000 Inga people living in Colombia, 3,600 of whom live in his community. <\/p>\n
2. Invitation to an Online Seminar on the Timeline Method<\/p>\n
Title: CONNECTING THE DOTS. History \u2013 Power \u2013 Discrimination!?

The current exhibition \u201cInvisible Inventories: A Critique of Kenyan Collections in Western Museums\u201d at the Weltkulturen Labor (Frankfurt am Main) demonstrates how directly the legacy of the colonial era is linked to the present.
\nThe seminar \u201cConnecting the Dots\u201d provides a space to engage with colonial continuities and histories, as well as with the associated privileges enjoyed by people in the Global North. In particular, using the timeline method developed by glokal e.V., the seminar aims to establish a practical connection that enables participants to independently relate the content to their everyday lives.
\nWe offer a practical introduction to the topic and look forward to lively and engaged participation. More information and registration are available here. <\/p>\n
3. New glokal Project on Education to Combat Antisemitism
\nglokal combines education to combat racism with education to combat antisemitism: In our new project, we are expanding the scope of our timeline method and the e-learning tool \u201cconnecting the dots.\u201d Our timeline method is being expanded to include 30 quotes and explanations. As is customary in the timeline method, we work with both perpetuating and resistant sources to highlight anti-Semitic discontinuities and continuities over the past 21 centuries. At the same time, the method is well-suited for addressing various forms and aspects of contemporary antisemitism in a practical way. The new module is available in three languages (German, English, Arabic) and can be booked immediately. It will soon be available on our website as well as digitally on the \u201cconnecting the dots\u201d e-learning platform. <\/p>\n
4. The bridge-it! One World Award for South-North Partnership Projects.
\nThe bridge-it! One World Award is looking for young people who are working together on projects between countries in the Global South and Germany to shape visions for the future! <\/p>\n
As COVID continues to threaten the health of many people around the world and the climate crisis
\nis becoming even more evident everywhere, one thing is clear: some of these
\ncrises could come to a head in the coming years. Are you change agents who remain committed despite the challenges?
\nWhat do crises mean to you? Have you found new ways to collaborate on your projects in recent months at
\n? Or have you developed new ideas for making your partnerships crisis-proof at
