Our world is rife with profound and historically entrenched injustices\u2014including in the field of health care. Power imbalances and discrimination in medicine can have life-threatening consequences. Human lives are at risk because certain groups are systematically disadvantaged. We are convinced that equitable global health care is only possible if it guarantees equal access for all, regardless of origin, gender, or social status. <\/p>\n\n

We raise awareness among medical and development policy professionals about the impacts of racism, sexism, and classism in global health<\/li>\n\n\n\n

We offer practical tools and methods to help healthcare providers work in a way that is more sensitive to issues of discrimination<\/li>\n\n\n\n
