Our new project, funded by PFQ and BfdW, includes three webinar series for activists in development policy organizations and initiatives, as well as for anyone committed to global justice. We especially invite BIPoC, activists from migrant self-help organizations, and people in the diaspora. <\/p>\n\n
The qualifying courses teach diversity-sensitive approaches and decolonial methods for more just and equitable development work. In the partnership work track, participants acquire the skills to apply emancipatory, power-critical perspectives to their projects with partners in the Global South. Depending on their needs, participants are empowered to design their project goals, structures, measures, and communication in a way that is sensitive to discrimination, thereby improving collaboration. In the webinar on public relations and fundraising, participants gain skills for using visual language and conducting campaigns in a way that is sensitive to discrimination. In the long term, this enhances the quality of their work and helps them reach new target groups through an inclusive approach. <\/p>\n\n
The goal<\/strong> is to work together to develop ideas for alternative courses of action and practices that are sensitive to racism and power dynamics\u2014or that are empowering\u2014in \u201cpartnership work,\u201d public relations, and fundraising.<\/p>\n\n
The target audience<\/strong> includes stakeholders from development NGOs, groups, and initiatives, as well as activists working to promote global justice. BIPoC, activists from migrant self-help organizations, and members of the diaspora are expressly invited. <\/p>\n\n
