1st KlimaDeSol Conference
Save the date: On September 24, 2022, we invite you to the Refugio Berlin for the KlimaDeSol Conference. This event will give a voice to those who are marginalized in the white-dominated debate on climate justice: activists, experts, and lecturers with migrant and diaspora backgrounds, whose work is closely linked to the movements, discourses, and struggles in countries of the Global South. We’ll send you all the details on how to register or follow the event via our livestream in upcoming newsletters.

3. New glokal project on education to combat antisemitism is now online
glokal combines education to combat racism and antisemitism: In our new project, we are expanding the scope of our timeline method and the e-learning tool “connecting the dots.” Our timeline method has been expanded to include 30 quotes and explanations. As is customary in the timeline method, we work with both complicit and resistant sources to highlight anti-Semitic discontinuities and continuities over the past 21 centuries. At the same time, the method is well-suited for addressing various forms and aspects of contemporary antisemitism in a practical way. The new module is available in three languages (German, English, Arabic) and can be booked immediately. It is already available on our website, as well as digitally on the “connecting the dots” e-learning platform.
